Taste of Grand Was A Success!
The Area’s Best Flavors Were Savored
at the Sixth Annual Taste of Grand
Over 500 people attended the Taste of Grand on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Grand Lake’s premier food and wine tasting event increased last year’s attendance by more than 100 people.
This enchanted evening of fabulous food, wine and music has turned into one of Grand Lake’s favorite events. Guests gathered to sample scrumptious cuisine, along with excellent selection of complimentary wine and spirits that was offered by numerous vintners. Local light jazz and blue band the Alltones did a fantastic job of entertaining the crowed just before the Wavetones took the stage. The 8 piece band impressed the crowd with their amazing talent and flexibility of song styles, from Norah Jones and Van Morrison to Pink and Frank Sinatra. The Wavetones played a large variety of music styles that entertained the very diverse crowd.
All proceeds from the event benefit the INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides programs that improve the quality of health care in our community.
